AWARDS
The New York Chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses established a series of awards to honor and provide special recognition to Hispanic nurses.
These special awards (described further below) honor NAHN-NY members for demonstrated excellence in nursing education, community service and for their spirit and dedication to serving the Hispanic community.
Special awards are an opportunity for NAHN-NY members to be recognized and celebrated for their extraordinary achievements within the nursing discipline.
How It Works
Following are the requirements for all NAHN-NY Member Awards:

You may submit multiple nominations using the web portal.

Nurses nominated for a Special Award must be active members of NAHN-NY for a minimum of 6 months.

Nominations may be self-nominated or made by colleagues, clients, administrators, or co-workers.

Qualified nominees may be the recipient of a particular Award only once. Any individual who has received previous recognition by NAHN-NY for that award may be nominated for other applicable NAHN-NY awards.

Submitted nomination information becomes the property of NAHN-NY.

Current Board Members are not eligible for NAHN-NY awards.

The distribution of the awards is at the discretion of NAHN-NY.
PREMIOS
El New York Chapter de la National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN-NY) estableció una serie de premios para honrar y brindar un reconocimiento especial a los enfermeros hispanos.
Estos premios especiales (que se describen más adelante) honran a los miembros de NAHN-NY por su excelencia demostrada en educación de enfermería, servicio comunitario y por su espíritu y dedicación al servicio de la comunidad hispana.
Los premios especiales son una oportunidad para que los miembros de NAHN-NY sean reconocidos y celebrados por sus logros extraordinarios dentro de la disciplina de enfermería.
Cómo Funciona
Los siguientes son los requisitos para todos los premios para miembros de NAHN-NY:

Puede enviar múltiples nominaciones usando el portal web.

Enfermeros nominados para un premio especial deben ser miembros activos de NAHN-NY durante un mínimo de 6 meses.
